Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Island Drafting and Technical Institute

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Island Drafting and Technical Institute, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $16,650 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 95 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 33 students received grants or scholarships totaling $275,399 and 32 students took out student loans totaling more than $306,428.

Including all undergraduates (82), 71 students used grants or scholarships totaling $463,593, and 81 students took out $492,877 in federal student loans.
