Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on November 22, 2020. Last updated November 21, 2020
On November 21:
- 1,329,462 COVID-19 tests were administered, an addition of 14,027 tests
- 4.2% of those tested since March have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
- 3.5% tested positive on Long Island; 3.2% positive on a 7-day average
- 3.8% tested positive in Suffolk County ; 3.3% positive on a 7-day average
- 56,339 total cases
- 532 new cases
- 293,739 total were tested for antibodies
- 30,814 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies
- 0 fatalities
- 2,032 total fatalities
- 140 individuals were hospitalized, an increase of 9 in 24 hours
- 28 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an increase of 4 in 24 hours
- 11 Positive Currently in the ICU and Intubated
- 23 new admissions
- 17 discharged since last report
- 6,252 discharged since March 22
- 2,993 hospital beds, 836 available, 28 percent
- 381 ICU beds 112 available, 29 percent
