Of the 2,710 people living in Halesite in 2019, 51.8 percent (1,404) were women and 48.2 percent (1,306) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Suffolk Reporter.

There were as many males 18 and over as females. In the 65 and over age range, there were 256 females and 274 males.
