Students at William Floyd High School Had a Blast During a Recent Visit With Members of the Suffolk County Police Department

253

Students at William Floyd High School had a blast during a recent visit with members of the Suffolk County Police Department.

Officers from the Emergency Service Section and Community Relations Bureau recently stopped by a life skills class to discuss a variety of topics. Emergency Service Section officers showed off their robots, explained how they are used to detect bombs and other hazardous materials and even let the students take turns using them.

While the students made it clear that they had a great time during the visit, the afternoon brought a smile to the faces of the SCPD officers as well. We look forward to the next visit!
