Suffolk County Police Department - Adopt With A Cop

61

Suffolk County Police officers are always there to help so now we are asking for your help--finding shelter animals their fur-ever homes as part of #adoptwithacop.

Meet Sixth Precinct Officer Angelica Nebel, a former kennel attendant at the Town of Smithtown Animal Shelter, and brother and sister Samson and Delilah. Samson and Delilah were dumped on the grounds of the Kings Park Psychiatric Center after their owner died. They would love to find a forever home together but can be adopted separately if the right situation presents itself. They may be heading into their golden years at 8 and 10 years old but they still have a ton of life and love to share.

Linx is a handsome German Shepherd in need of an experienced GSD owner. Linx, who is believed to be between 2 and 3 years old, came to the shelter as a stray. Linx is well-mannered, housebroken, and loves to play. He needs a strong Alpha leader who will meet his physical and mental stimulation needs.

Angel is the shelter’s longest resident, spending nearly half of her 8 years of life at the shelter. Angel is looking for a home where she can bask in the spotlight as the only pet and would be ok with older human siblings.

Cats Chloe and Zendaya are a couple of special cats who are looking for families to care for them and their medical conditions, seizures and feline leukemia, respectively.

Or if you’re looking for a pet with only two legs, maybe King James the rooster is more your style.

These are just some of the animals who currently reside at Smithtown Animal Shelter , so if you’re interested in giving them, or another animal a home, visit https://www.townofsmithtownanimalshelter.com/ for more information. #adoptdontshop
