Members of the Suffolk County Police Department will stop at nothing to rescue those in need, including our four-legged residents.
A kitten found itself in some trouble Thursday afternoon when it became stuck in a Hyundai Sonata in North Babylon. Emergency Service Section officers, assisted by First Precinct officers, responded and used a jack to elevate the car and rescue the kitten.
Thanks to the swift response of these officers and Babylon Animal Shelter employees, the kitten was uninjured and turned over to the shelter where it will be well-cared for until it finds its forever home!
