Suffolk County Police Department - October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the Suffolk County Police Department is providing information on this topic during upcoming community meetings.

Officers from the Domestic Violence and Elder Abuse Section will be presenting  information on valuable  resources for survivors and people seeking to support survivors. This is an important time to remind survivors that they are not alone and that there is help available.
