The Suffolk County Police Department participated in National Faith & Blue Weekend, an event aimed at facilitating safer and stronger communities by engaging members of law enforcement and residents through the connections of faith-based organizations.
During the last four days, SCPD partnered with community groups to offer events in all seven precincts. Among some of the activities included: food, coat drive, street cleanup, crafts, block party and round table discussion.
We really enjoyed building bridges to community collaboration and we look forward to next year's faith and blue.
