Automotive Technology Class at Central Islip High School

Students In Technology Teacher Christopher Helmke's Automotive Technology Class at Central Islip High School are engaging in an array of activities that include but are not limited to a total restoration of a 2001 Mustang, installing a carburetor and preparing to reinstall an engine in an ATV, rebuilding a lawn mower transmission which was donated by the school's maintenance department, and preparing to change a damaged tire using the class's new Tire Machine.
