Nathan Dean and the Damn Band will return to Smithtown for a free end-of-summer country music concert at Callahan's Beach on Saturday, Aug. 24. The show is sponsored by Cosentino Companies.

According to a Town of Brookhaven news release, the parking area at Callahan's Beach will be transformed into an outdoor concert venue. Parking opens at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m. Due to limited parking, attendees are encouraged to RSVP per vehicle via EventBrite at http://nathandeanatcallahans.eventbrite.com as soon as possible.

Residents are encouraged to bring lawn and beach chairs or blankets to enjoy the show comfortably or watch from vehicles tailgate style, according to the news release. The free concert was organized by David Capo in conjunction with Smithtown Supervisor Ed Wehrheim and the town council.

In the event of rain on Saturday, the concert will be rescheduled to Sunday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. in the Callahan's Beach parking lot, according to the news release. Rain date announcements can be checked via the Town of Smithtown mobile app and on social media.

Specify if handicap parking is required when reserving vehicle space online. Restrooms will be open at both the beach entrance and the parking lot, according to the news release.
