Nighttime excavation and pipe installation on Main Street will continue this week for the King Park Sewer Construction project. The work is scheduled from Sunday through Thursday, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

According to a construction schedule update, the work will proceed from Patiky Street, moving west toward Church Street. Excavation will occur down the middle of Main Street to install gravity sewer main pipes between manholes and lateral pipes toward curb lines. Road plates will be securely installed at the end of each night's work, with several road plates possible during weekdays.

Final paving of the road surface on Church Street, Indian Head Road, Meadow East and West, Stattle, and Park is scheduled to start Monday during daytime hours. According to the construction schedule update, this work depends on weather conditions. Plans are to begin at the north end of Church Street and move south to Indian Head Road, Meadow East and West, Park, and Stattle.

Residents who notice a pothole or other issue are asked to call 631-393-4994.
