Suffolk County Community College showcases student art at Eastern Campus

A student art exhibit showcasing the work of Suffolk County Community College students is set to open on November 6 at the Eastern Campus in Riverhead. The exhibition will continue until December 9, featuring more than 60 pieces created by students in photography, graphic design, interior design, digital arts, and animation courses.

The event offers prospective students a chance to observe the skills developed by those in Suffolk's Eastern Campus Art Department. An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, November 8, from 4 to 6 p.m.

The Lyceum Gallery, located in the Montaukett Learning Resource Center on the Eastern Campus, will host the exhibit. The gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays as well as holidays like Veterans Day on November 11. Exceptions include extended hours on November 26 and November 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with closures on November 28 and November 29 for Thanksgiving.
