Bruce Hennessy, a resident from Stony Brook and winner of the Town of Brookhaven’s “Brookhaven Recycles Day” Compost Tumbler Giveaway, visited Town Hall to collect his prize. The event saw six winners selected, one from each Town Council District.
The contest was conducted online through Facebook, where participants pledged to recycle for a chance to win. Accompanying Hennessy at the prize collection were Councilperson Jonathan Kornreich and Recycling Educator Zachary Sicardi.
