Andrew Kelly Second Assistant Chief | Smithtown Fire Department
On Thursday, April 8th, 2021, the Smithtown Fire Department conducted its annual elections for officers as mandated by state law. Patrick V. Diecidue was elected as the 46th Chief of Department. Andrew Kelly, previously Captain of Engine Co 5, assumed the position of 3rd Assistant Chief. Timothy Duckham and Daniel Dongvort advanced to First and Second Assistant Chief positions respectively.
The election also saw new leadership within individual companies. The department extends congratulations and best wishes for a successful year to all those elected.
