Brookhaven Councilwoman Karen Dunne Kesnig is set to take her office on the road as part of a new initiative aimed at making town hall more accessible to residents. On Tuesday, March 18th, she and her staff will be available at the Moriches Bay Recreation Center in Center Moriches for in-district office hours.

Councilwoman Dunne Kesnig explained the motivation behind this effort: “I understand that people keep very busy schedules between work and their home life and realize that it isn’t always easy to get everything on our lists accomplished.” She added, “I hope that constituents will take advantage of this opportunity to meet one-on-one at a more convenient location within Council District 6 to ask questions or to discuss issues of concern.”

The office hours are scheduled from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Residents can either call ahead at 631-451-6502 to arrange a specific time or simply drop by the recreation center, located at 313 Frowein Road in Center Moriches.
