On March 13, Brookhaven Town Clerk Kevin LaValle visited the Bayport-Blue Point Public Library as part of his 2025 Mobile Office tour. This initiative aims to provide residents with easy access to town services and information by bringing the Clerk’s office directly to various locations.

The mobile office allows residents to engage with the Town Clerk, ask questions, and receive essential information about Brookhaven. The Clerk's office is known for offering services such as issuing birth, marriage, and death certificates, as well as permits for parking for persons with disabilities, amusement events, and special events. Although privacy laws prevent issuing permits and certificates during these mobile hours, LaValle assists residents in initiating these processes.

The next scheduled stop on this tour will be at the Brookhaven Public Library on April 8 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Residents seeking more details can visit www.BrookhavenNY.gov or contact the Clerk's office via email at [email protected] or by phone at 631-451-9101.

Kevin LaValle expressed his enthusiasm for these visits: “It’s always a pleasure to host mobile hours at the various libraries across the town. Each library has its own unique character, offering a special atmosphere that reflects the community it serves. These visits allow me to connect with residents, address their needs, and bring our services directly to them. I truly value the opportunity to engage with the diverse groups that make up our town, and I’m proud to partner with these incredible libraries to make our resources more accessible to everyone."
