While working in the department’s Aviation Section usually has our officers patrolling in the skies, they recently took a break to meet with members of Cub Scout Pack 371 Brentwood.
This educational trip provided officers an opportunity to speak to the scouts about the various opportunities available within the police department while highlighting the importance of education.
Additionally, the scouts met with members of the Crime Scene Section and observed the behind-the-scenes workings of fingerprinting and other forensics.
Career exploration is a vital component of Boy Scouts of America and we hope these youngsters left thinking about a career in law enforcement.
