Let us identify your tick! Send a photo to our Arthropod-Borne Disease Lab at tick.prevention@suffolkcountyny.gov. In-focus, well-lit photos on a white background are best. Be sure to capture both sides of the tick. Save ticks in rubbing alcohol, on tape, or in a zip-top bag.
