On December 19, Councilwoman Jane Bonner joined student musicians from the Mount Sinai School District at the Rose Caracappa Senior Center in Mt. Sinai. The students performed seasonal songs for the senior residents, aiming to spread holiday cheer.
Councilwoman Bonner expressed her delight in participating in the event. "Celebrating at Rose Caracappa Senior Center is a most enjoyable way to welcome the holiday season," she stated. She extended her festive wishes, saying, "I wish a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and a Happy Year to all who attended the concert. It’s a wonderful time to spend with family and friends and I wish all town residents a safe and happy holiday season."
The event featured Santa Claus, who added to the joyful atmosphere by engaging with attendees.
