LaLota Announces Constituent Casework Milestone: 1,000 Constituent Cases Closed

HAUPPAUGE, NY - On July 12th, 2023, Rep. Nick LaLota (NY-01) announced he and his staff have successfully closed 1,079 constituent cases, including passport cases for over 500 families.

“Since January, my team and I have helped more than 1,000 constituents receive the assistance they need and the benefits they have earned. From passports and federal grants to securing benefits owed to taxpayers, I am incredibly proud of the results we have delivered,” said LaLota. “Serving Suffolk County residents and ensuring that they receive the best return on their federal tax dollars is so important to me. My constituents who need help with a federal agency can continue to expect my staff and I to professionally and capably advocate on their behalf.”

LaLota’s staff in Hauppauge is able to assist Long Islanders with the federal bureaucracy and receive government benefits they have earned. These include Social Security, Medicare, federal grants, Veterans’ benefits, the IRS, passports and visas, and small business assistance.
