Congressman Nick LaLota, representing New York's 1st District, has been vocal on social media about his recent actions and stances regarding important issues. His recent tweets shed light on his commitments and activities within the political sphere.

On March 27, 2025, Congressman LaLota expressed his support for USPS letter carriers, opposing the privatization of the postal service. He stated, "This weekend on Long Island and this week in D.C., I stood with USPS letter carriers against privatization. As the lead sponsor of H. Res. 70 and Chair of the RMSP Labor Caucus, I’m fighting to keep USPS public, reliable, and strong. Privatization won’t save taxpayers a dime."

Later that day, LaLota showed support for a colleague, Marc Molinaro, and his nomination to lead the Federal Transit Administration. He tweeted, "After votes today, I walked to the Senate to support my friend Marc Molinaro’s confirmation to lead the Federal Transit Administration. From NY’s youngest mayor to Congress, Marc has the experience & integrity to serve. The Senate should confirm him without delay!"

On March 28, 2025, Congressman LaLota highlighted his constituent services by tweeting about aid provided to Salvatore Santino in obtaining due Social Security benefits. He tweeted, "Long Island is expensive—$400 more a month makes a difference. My team helped Salvatore Santino get what he was owed from Social Security. Need help with a federal agency? Call us at (631) 289-1097."
