On October 3, Brookhaven Town Clerk Kevin LaValle brought his "Mobile Office" to the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library in East Setauket. This initiative aims to facilitate residents' access to the Town Clerk, allowing them to ask questions and obtain information about the Town of Brookhaven.

The Clerk's office is often seen as the center of town government, offering services such as Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates, Parking Permits for Persons with Disabilities, Amusement Permits, Special Event Permits, among others. While privacy laws prevent issuing passes and certificates during the Mobile Hours, Clerk LaValle assists residents in initiating these processes.

The last stop on the Town Clerk’s Library Tour 2024 is set for Friday, November 15 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Patchogue Medford Library. For more details about the Brookhaven Town Clerk’s office, visit www.BrookhavenNY.gov/TownClerk, email TownClerk@BrookhavenNY.gov or call 631-451-9101.
