Farmingville, NY – On November 14, Supervisor Dan Panico and Councilwoman Karen Dunne Kesnig will host a public informational meeting with The Beechwood Organization. The event is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the William Floyd High School Auditorium in Mastic Beach.
The meeting aims to provide an update on the Mastic Beach Neighborhood Road Revitalization Project. It will feature a presentation of the proposed land use plan for the redevelopment area. Attendees can engage with representatives from Beechwood and the town at various break-out stations to learn more about the plan and offer feedback.
Supervisor Dan Panico expressed his commitment to enhancing Mastic Beach's quality of life, stating, “This project will write a new positive chapter in the history of Mastic Beach, the community in which I grew up.”
Councilwoman Dunne Kesnig emphasized the significance of this step in redeveloping Neighborhood Road, noting that establishing a land use plan is crucial before moving forward with further tasks.
Steven Dubb, Principal and President of The Beechwood Organization, highlighted their focus on understanding community desires over recent years. He stated, “We are getting closer to bringing to life the new Neighborhood Road development... We’re now looking forward to share the plan we’ve formulated.”
