Brookhaven Town Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro and Councilmember Jonathan Kornreich have announced the completion of a significant road paving project in East Setauket, New York. The project involved resurfacing 16 roads located north of Route 347, off Pond Path.

Before the roads were resurfaced, both in-house and contracted crews conducted inspections and replaced damaged drains, concrete curbing, sidewalks, and aprons. This preliminary work incurred a cost of $240,185.

The roads included in this paving project are: 18th Street, 23rd Street, Baron Court, Club House Court, Krispin Lane, Krispin Place, Mark Tree Road, Penn Court, Robert Crescent Drive, Robin Court, Spring Meadow Lane, Stuyvesant Avenue, Stuyvesant Circle E and W, Stuyvesant Lane, and Tree Court. The total expenditure for the entire project was approximately $762,000.

Superintendent Losquadro stated: “We utilized both our in-house and contracted crews to complete all of the concrete repairs and improvements in this area before paving could begin. I am very pleased with how this project came out.”

Councilmember Kornreich expressed his gratitude by saying: “Ensuring our roads are well-maintained is essential for the safety of our residents. Thank you Highway Superintendent Dan Losquadro and your team for your work on the resurfacing project in our community.
