SBU Eats hosted the third annual Rothefeller Tree Lighting on December 4, bringing a festive atmosphere to the Roth Food Court. The event aimed to replicate the magic of Rockefeller Center, transforming the venue into a winter wonderland with decorated trees and holiday décor.
The celebration began at 6 pm with a performance by the High C’s, creating an upbeat ambiance. Wolfie made an appearance to enhance the holiday spirit as students received giveaways from SBU Eats.
Participants engaged in activities like sugar cookie decorating. A highlight was Smash n’ Shake’s limited-edition sugar cookie Rothefeller Shake, which proved popular among attendees.
The event concluded with the lighting of the Rothefeller tree, adorned with white lights and gold ornaments. This moment encapsulated the holiday spirit for those present.
