The legislative session has commenced, and Assemblymember Brown expressed gratitude for the opportunity to represent Long Islanders in the 12th Assembly District. Brown emphasized a commitment to advocating for Long Island families and supporting communities by working towards a safer, smarter, and cleaner New York State.
Brown highlighted the importance of advancing policies that address several critical issues. These include tackling the fentanyl crisis directly, focusing on the mental and emotional health of students, teens, and children, and maintaining cleanliness throughout Long Island communities.
"I am very excited to be back in Albany and see my colleagues in the Assembly Minority Conference again—it’s time to get to work," stated Brown.
