Stony Brook Medicine is collaborating with the Suffolk Academy of Medicine to organize a Galentine’s Women’s Health Fair. The event, designed to provide women in Suffolk County with essential health resources and information, will be held on February 12, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead, New York.

“Stony Brook Medicine is proud to support the well-being of women in our community and provide them with the resources they need to thrive,” stated Carol Gomes, chief executive officer of Stony Brook University Hospital. She emphasized that initiatives like this strengthen healthier families and a healthier future.

Nicole Gerberg, Executive Director of Suffolk Academy of Medicine, expressed enthusiasm about the event by saying, “We are thrilled to bring this resource to the women of our community.” She highlighted the significant role women play in shaping healthy families and communities.

The fair is open to all residents of Suffolk County aged 16 years and older. Attendees must RSVP through a provided link.
