In a series of tweets posted on February 15 and 16, 2025, LaLota highlighted important topics including veteran care, Medicaid reforms, and support for volunteer first responders.

On February 15, 2025, Congressman LaLota marked National Salute to Veteran Patients Week by acknowledging the sacrifices of veterans receiving care in VA hospitals. He stated: "During National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, we recognize the brave men and women receiving care in VA hospitals. Your sacrifices will never be forgotten. @NorthportVAMC".

Later that day, he addressed the future of Medicaid with proposed reforms aimed at strengthening the program. His tweet outlined specific measures: "I’ll keep Medicaid strong by: Blocking those who aren’t U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents from taxpayer-funded benefits.
