Assemblywoman Jodi Giglio (R,C-Riverhead) has partnered with Scott’s Pointe Adventure Park to organize a holiday toy drive for less fortunate youth on Long Island. The initiative aims to collect toys for donation to children's hospitals in the region.

In a statement, Giglio expressed her excitement about the partnership, stating, “Scott’s Pointe is becoming known as a wonderful spot for families to share in fun, so to partner with them and give something back to the children of Long Island feels like a really special opportunity.” She called on the community to give generously and highlighted the rewarding aspect of the initiative, saying, “I’m looking forward to seeing Scott’s Pointe overflowing with people and gifts!”

Donations for the toy drive will be accepted at Scott’s Pointe Adventure Park located at 5835 Middle Country Rd., Calverton, NY 11933. Guests are encouraged to donate between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In return for their donations, individuals will receive either a free day pass or a free appetizer at Lake View Grill upon confirmation of their toy donation. The complimentary pass or appetizer can be utilized on December 16th between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The donated toys will be distributed to various children's healthcare facilities including Stonybrook Children’s Hospital, Stonybrook Pediatric Care Center, St. Charles Hospital, and the Ronald McDonald House. Giglio emphasized the impact of the toy drive, stating, “This is a simple effort that will go a long way towards helping a child in need. I encourage anyone who can to give generously.”
