Babylon Dental Care, a Long Island dental practice, has introduced its Dental Savings Plan (DSP). The comprehensive in-house program is designed to make dental care more affordable for uninsured individuals.

In a press release from Babylon Dental Care, it was revealed that the program consists of two tiers: the Gold Package, priced at $390 per year, and the Platinum Package, which costs $750 per year. Both packages offer discounts and benefits for a wide array of dental services.

The press release further clarified that both plans include preventative dental services. They specifically provide two periodic exams per plan annually, two problem-focused exams, four bitewing X-ray films, four periapical X-ray films, one full mouth X-ray, and two fluoride treatments. Platinum Package members also receive four complimentary periodontal maintenance visits and two additional fluoride treatments.

The press release also highlighted that each plan offers identical discounts on common procedures and treatments. These include 20% off sealants, fillings, oral surgery, periodontics, and implant services as well as 18% off crown and bridge services and 15% off root canals, partials, and dentures. Furthermore, the plans feature discounts on orthodontic services. For example, members receive $500 off Invisalign and traditional braces and $200 off Invisalign Express.

According to the press release by Babylon Dental Care, this in-house program is available at their Great South Bay and Gateway Plaza locations. The practice added that the program cannot be combined with other dental plans or discounts. It also cannot be used for outside services such as referrals to specialists or hospitalization or no-fault or worker's compensation insurance cases.
