Flecker Gallery presents "DAYLIGHT" by Adam Lowenbein starting February

The Flecker Gallery at the Ammerman Campus in Selden is set to host an exhibition titled "DAYLIGHT" by artist Adam Lowenbein. The exhibition will open on February 6, 2025, with a reception and artist talk scheduled from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. at the Southampton Building. It will be available for viewing until March 6, 2025.

The "DAYLIGHT" exhibition includes large-scale works that transform ordinary scenes into extraordinary visual experiences through vibrant colors and layered textures. Lowenbein's art captures moments filled with tension and anticipation, blurring lines between clarity and unease. This collection invites viewers to explore hidden aspects of familiar environments.

Adam Lowenbein has received national and international recognition for his work. Based in Long Island, NY, and Fort Lauderdale, FL, he holds a BFA from The Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from Indiana University. His career includes grants for the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and the Vermont Studio Center, as well as being a Core Fellow at The Glassell School, Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.

The public is encouraged to attend this exhibition and artist talk to engage with Lowenbein's work and learn about his creative process. Viewing hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to 4 PM or by appointment.
