Congressman Nick LaLota, representing New York's 1st district, has been active on social media, sharing his perspectives on legislative matters.

On April 3, 2025, LaLota expressed his support for allowing new mothers in Congress to vote by proxy. He emphasized the importance of representation and stated, "New moms in Congress should be able to represent their districts. The Republic won’t fail if they vote by proxy for a month or so. Thank you, @realDonaldTrump, for backing this common-sense measure led by @RepLuna Proud to have helped ensure a House vote on this issue!"

The following day, on April 4, 2025, he announced his involvement in a bipartisan initiative, highlighting his dedication to veteran affairs. He tweeted, "Proud to join a bipartisan group introducing the SAVES Act—ensuring veterans in need can access service dogs that provide stability, dignity & healing. As a Navy Veteran & For Country Caucus Vice Chair, I’ll always fight for those who served. Let’s get this done!"

On the same day, LaLota commented on a financial matter, expressing dissatisfaction with an offer. He stated, "$25k is not a serious offer and would not result in a deal." No further context was provided in his post.
