Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced the indictment of Jason Middleton, a 35-year-old corrections officer from Central Islip. Suffolk County Community College has renamed its nursing school to honor Jane F. Shearer, a former associate dean and president of the Guild of Administrative Officers at the college. Jane F.
