On April 13, Councilwoman Jane Bonner was present at the grand opening of Studio 45 located at 53D Broadway in Rocky Point. The facility, owned by Dr. Kimberly Roff, an associate professor in the Graduate Education Program at Touro University, offers cardio dance and strength training classes. The classes provide a full-body workout that includes elements of yoga, pilates, kickboxing alongside strength training.
Councilwoman Bonner remarked on the significance of the new business, saying, "I know the Rocky Point community is passionate about rebuilding and revitalizing Broadway and what a great idea to start a fully woman-owned business there."
